Reed Martin is a filmmaker and entrepreneur driven by one idea: great stories move people.
A Southern California native and graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, Reed built his foundation in documentary filmmaking, where he learned how to uncover truth, emotion, and meaning in every story. His short films have aired on PBS and earned recognition from the International Documentary Association and his alma mater, the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Today, Reed leads Grandview, a film studio that blends cinematic craft with business strategy.
Reed partners with companies to understand what they’re trying to achieve — whether it’s building trust, clarifying their mission, showcasing a use case, or telling a customer’s story. He approaches every project on a case-by-case basis, applying documentary storytelling and cinematic craft to create the exact film a company needs in that moment.
Reed believes that when you commit fully to telling a great story with clarity, honesty, and craft — people feel it. Story is the universal language and a great story moves everyone.
